Ms. Gerasimou Maria Michaela, RN, BSc, is a graduate of the Department of Nursing at the University of the Peloponnese, having obtained her degree with distinction, and holds a professional nursing license. During her studies, she was awarded scholarships through Erasmus+ and Blended Intensive Programmes, gaining international experience at the Hospital Center Victor Jousselin in France and at the University of Porto in Portugal.

She has been actively involved in research projects focusing on positive psychology, music therapy, genetic analysis, and the resilience of healthcare professionals in the surgical sector, while presenting numerous papers at national conferences.

In parallel, she has volunteered in hospitals, community structures, and public health initiatives, with a particular emphasis on bone marrow donation, cancer prevention, and community empowerment.
