Dimitrios Doumitsas was born in 1967 in São Paulo, Brazil.

He lives and works in Athens, Greece.

He holds a degree in Sociology from Sapienza University of Rome, Italy, graduating with distinction, and also holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Health Unit Management from the University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom.

He has extensive professional experience in the healthcare sector, having held positions of responsibility in major organizations and companies.

He began his professional career at the pharmaceutical company Servier Hellas and subsequently held managerial and executive positions within the Bioiatriki Group. His responsibilities included branch management, public relations, and medical liaison across the group’s diagnostic centers and clinics (Bioclinic of Athens and Bioclinic of Piraeus).

He has served as Head of Corporate Development at IASO General. He also held the position of General Manager at Endocrine Clinics, where he was responsible for the administration and development of healthcare units in the fields of endocrinology and metabolism.
